Tanya's, Chelsea


I am literally starved of good vegan restaurants where I live, so when I go to London I go all out and basically eat all day. I've posted about Tanya's before, but when a restaurant is this good it totally deserved more than one post. They specialise in plant based raw food and everything they create is a tasty work of art. Last time I went for breakfast, so as I'd ticked that off of my list, we decided to make it our first stop on our food tour for lunch. 

We both went for the Americana Adventure bowl salad, I was sold on beets, raw nacho's and guac, but the other 2 options looked pretty incredible as well. The Americana consisted of Quinoa, tomato and avocado salad, chunky pineapple salsa, pickled beets in cashew soured cream, chimichurri spinach and mushrooms, guacamole and dehydrated nachos with Baobab kale salad & Korean carrots. I don't know if I even have to tell you how incredible this was, I'll just let you eat it with your eyes! 

Even the drinks at Tanyas are a work of art, after quite a lot of deliberating I went for the protein packed My Warrior, filled with activated almond milk, banana, pineapple, sun warrior vanilla protein, maca and bee pollen. It was totally delicious, like a fruity healthy milkshake and was perfect for washing down the salad. 

Then it was on to my favourite part, desert! I had a raw lemon cheesecake bite which was tart, soft and creamy and topped with crunchy delicious chocolate and G had a raw caramel slice, which was equally as tasty! We both also had a peanut butter cup, because, why not! 

If you're ever in the area, take yourself there! The restaurant is beautiful and has a light little courtyard where you can be tucked right away to enjoy your food. It is a little pricey, but 100% worth it. I will be back!
